Introduction
The genus Seseria comprises of 6 species, found variously across the Oriental region.
Seseria dohertyi is found in India, Nepal, Bhutan, Laos and south China.
Habitats
This species is found in forested habitats at elevations between about 300-1800m.

Adult behaviour
Males are usually encountered singly, either basking on foliage or imbibing mineralised moisture from rocks or damp sand.
