Introduction
The genus Sarangesa comprises of 26 species, of which 3 are found in the Oriental region and the remaining 23 in mainland Africa.
Sarangesa tertullianus is found from Sierra Leone to Congo and Uganda.
Habitats
This species is found in forest edge habitats, clearings, and along wide logging roads.
Lifecycle
The larval foodplants are believed to be Acanthaceae.
Adult behaviour
Males are encountered more often than females, but both can occasionally be found basking on low foliage around the edges of glades, or in gardens abutting forested areas.
